Shock indicator labels and tilt indicators

Shock or impact labels are single-use impact detection device that visually activates when an impact level exceeds the G force threshold.

These can be stuck onto packging or directly onto the product itself to give you an indication of potentially concealed damage.

With package handling passing through many hands, shock labels can help pinpoint the source of potential damage and help decrease claims, and alert recipients to inspect items.

If you are shipping any valuable, fragile or precious products, protect them with our impact labels and save time, hassle and costs from insurance claims and other unwanted hassles.

Depending on the magnitude of shock, we have labels from 25G to 100G. For fragile products, the smaller G value should be used.

You can use our selection tool to calculate the label that's right for you or contact us.

Complimenting our impact labels, we also offer tilt indicators that can show the mishandling of fragile items that need to remain upright.

Our labels are individually barcoded, ensuring they cannot be replaced or tampered with during transit and as a visual aid alone can help reduce damage by dropping and mishandling by up to 50%.

Drop test

Apply all types of indicators on the product or the package and drop them until the product is damaged, as well as the activation indicator.

We can help you arrange drop tests and advise the most appropriate item.

Shipping environment inspection

If you do not want to perform a drop test, you can apply the full range of impact labels every time you ship and record the activation of the labels.

The below table will give you some guidance.

Of 10 deliveries, 9 of them were in good order. Another delivery was damaged, and all indicators are activated. Then 75G is suitable based on the results of these ten deliveries.
